Be-Loved is a mentorship program designed for teen mothers who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. The goal of Be-Loved it to equip and empower these young women to overcome the obstacles that most teen mothers face. Approximately two percent of teen mothers have a college degree by age thirty. Daughters of teen mothers are three times more likely to become teen moms themselves. Statistically, fifty-five percent of students being mentored  are fifty-five percent more likely to attend college. Seventy-eight percent are most likely to volunteer regularly, and one-hundred-thirty percent more likely to hold a leadership position. Our hope is that Be-Loved will provide a safe place for these girls to come in order to receive support and encouragement in their time of need. We support our moms as they balance the requirements of being a mom, attending school, while pursuing a career that can make them more independent and less likely to repeat unhealthy behavior that may prevent their future success. Through our mentorship program, these young women are able to earn points to purchase items of need in the Be-Loved store.

If you can support Be-Loved financially, we'd love that, but most of all we covet your prayers and/or in being a mentor for our program. If you're interested in becoming a mentor for Be-Loved, please email our Be-Loved Director at whittney@missionamarillo.org.
